What’s this uproar about Adam Levine, his wife, and Maroon 5’s new “Animals” video being rubbish? It’s disturbing in some ways, I agree, but I wonder if the same people complaining watch any violent films or listen to music with explicit language. I’m very much an advocate for animals. The video, while promoting humans’ animalistic qualities and stalking abilities, isn’t nearly as bad or disturbing as some of the greatest films in history.

It is not the worst I have ever seen. Was it necessary? No. The video could have been written and created in a much more refined manner to accompany the song. Will I watch it again? Probably not. Will I listen to the song again? Possibly. Ultimately, it’s up to the viewer to change the channel.
